Recently I picked-up one of our grandchildren and was taking them with me to my coffee place.
I ask the child, "How's school?" The answer, "OK." "You like school?" "Yea, its OK." "What's your teacher's name?" The child told me the teacher's name.
I then ask:: "You like your teacher?" I didn't hear an answer so I again ask the question, "You like your teacher?" From the back seat of the car I heard this one word weak reply:"Sorta."
"Sorta" I said. His reply: "Yea, sorta, some days more so than others."
I had to smile. I wanted to tell the youngster that "Sorta and some days more so than others" would continue to apply in their life. Long into life. That would be a feeling, an emotion that would often surface.
How about you, ever have folks who you... "Sorta" like and also days "more so than others?"
