"Something's up... I know it is... not sure what...they are all acting
funny... laughing, excited, calling people... hum... I know something's up."
Our oldest grandson, Seth and his wife Natalia, are going to have a baby. This will be their first and our first great-grandchild. Recently in one of their visits to the doctor they found out they were expecting a baby boy.
The above is a picture of their Golden Retriever, Tux. Tux is human, believe me, he is. From day one Tux has garnered a lot of attention from them and many others. Tux has a great personality and as I said, has truly human qualities. He loves to have his picture taken, loves carrots, apples and really loves ice cubes. He can even balance an ice cube on his nose, then on command toss it in the air, catch and eat it. The sound of the ice maker will send him charging to the source. He loves to romp and play. Shortly after Seth and Natalia got home from the doctor's office they put this handkerchief around Tux's neck and then took his picture.
I don't know about you but I think ole Tux boy is sensing something, and I don't mean the smell of his evening meal. I think Tux has been listening, overhearing phone conversations going out to others about this exciting news, about this one that will be coming to his house one of these days. Maybe he has even seen text messages that his "parents" have been sending out and... well he's getting wind of what's about to take place. And with that news, hum????
Who says dogs don't have a sixth sense. Ole Tux does and personally I think his face shows it. His dogie mind is spinning; "Hey, what's this about? A little brother? Who made that decision? Things have been pretty good around here until now. Hey who's in charge here? It's time we had a family sit-down."
A bit of coming advice to Tux! "No one stays number one... forever."
