Todd and Buz are back. Todd Stiles and Buz Murdock. If you grew up in the late 1950s and early '60s you might recognize those two names. Maybe even remember the television show "Route 66."
This was a television show that ran on CBS starting in October of 1960 and ended 116 episodes later in March of 1964. The drift of the show was about two young guys, Tod Stiles (Martin Milner) a decent all-American type guy and Buz Murdock (George Maharis) an orphan, hippster more beat generation type guy taking off to see the U.S. The show was always filmed on the road, on location, never in a Hollywood stage setting. Which was part of the appeal and success for the show. The show had taken part of its idea creation from Jack Kerouac book On The Road.
Once again I'm riddin' in that '62 Corvette with Buzz and Todd. Hey one can never get too old to be excited about what they receive at Christmas.
