My wife and recently saw the movie "Desperate Hours" based on the life and times of Winston Churchill during WW II. Excellent movie. Nice to see a historical movie trying to stay close to the facts and not fabricated.
Winston Churchill once was attending a formal banquet in London. Some of the guest ask of him: "If you could not be who you are, who would you like to be?"
Churchill thought for a moment, surely he would saying something like Napoleon, or someone from his famous English past. He responded:
"If I could not be who who I am," then he turned and took his wife's hand.
" I would like to be Mrs. Churchill... second husband."
The man could think on his feet.
