The story is told that a young teenage grandson was complaining to his grandfather about the landscape of the state in which they were living. How boring looking it was, on and on. To which the grandfather said, "Come back with a better pair of eyes."
Sometimes youth's vision has yet to mature or realize what they are looking at. Maybe not even looking at but at what they might even be looking for. Or a failure to recognize the beauty that is right in front of them.
