I once heard a great line from a movie:
“It has been said that possibly there is no greater grief than
acknowledging the truth… after it’s too late.”
Edna St. Vincent Millay once wrote to a friend:
“Please give me some good advice in your next letter. I promise not to take it.”
Something we probably all have done. In many cases we may not have even asked that it be given.
